Ordinance Regulating External Fuel Burning Devices
This ordinance is currently under review by the Board of Supervisors and has not been adopted. Input for this proposed ordinance is still being gathered and reviewed. There is no set date for adoption at this time.
"An Ordinance of the Township of Germany, Adams County, Pennsylvania intended to promote the public health, safety and welfare and to safeguard the health, comfort, living conditions, safety and welfare of the citizens of the Township due to potential air pollution and fire hazards of operations of Outdoor Solid Fuel Burning Furnaces or Appliances within the Township, providing for permitting procedures, regulations, for operations of same, and penalties for violations of this Ordinance."
