Germany Township Planning Commission

   The Germany Township Planning Commission, acting as an advisory board, oversees all development proposals for the township. As the township grows and new businesses, developments and houses break ground, all active land development plans are reviewed to ensure that new construction conforms with township regulations and long-term planning objectives. Working in conjunction with the Adams County Office of Planning & Development, the Township Zoning Enforcement Officer, and Sewage Enforcement Officer, the Planning Commission determines a project's feasibility, impact on the surrounding area, and compliance with state, county and township codes. Once a plan has been through the review process, the Planning Commission submits the development plan with their recommendations to the Board of Supervisors for final approval.
